Track Eqt at Thompson Springs on UP (DRG&W)

The UP (DRG&W) is reactivating the old spur (unused for over 20 years) from Crescent Junction, UT to Moab and the mine at Potash along the Colorado River. Every available nearby siding is filled with eqt. There is an old abandon spur at Thompson Springs to an abandon mine/ghost town north in the Bookcliffs. The mine was the last non-Mormom controlled coal before the DRG&W got to Price, UT. Its worth the visit to see the bank, "hotel" and other buildings in various states of decay.
