NBSR Mcadam

NBSR 9801. I dont know where they came from or anything im not familliar with the area. I got an update so to say on where the train came from and what the Caboose is for, I thought it was pretty interesting.

Thank you to Brian Barchard for the answers.

The train is the St. Stephen N.B. job, that traverses over the 32 mile St. Stephen Sub., which swings away to the right, in your photo. It serves three industries in St. Stephen ( Ganong Chocolates, a flakeboard and chemical / resin plant ) plus interchanges traffic with Pan Am, at Milltown, N.B. the green van on the end of the train, is needed for back up moves in St. Stephen. When servicing industries in St. Stephen and to get to Milltown, for interchange with Pan Am, an approximate four mile back up move over the Milltown Spur ( off the St. Stephen Sub ) is necessary. Several road crossing are involved and the van is equipped with a horn and operated by the conductor.
