I found an old wooden pole for the wires. I guess the rest were all pulled up.

Those poles carried the railroad telegraph and telephone lines, signal lines, signal power lines, Western Union lines and, where applicable CTC code wires. These were the type of poles that I climbed on Soldier Summit when we pulled in CTC wire over the Summit in 1963 on the D&RGW.
