NPRR, Pullman car sits in Peace Dale Yard, 1977

Narragagansett Pier Railroad Pullman passenger
car sits in the freight yard @ Peace Dale in Spring
1977. Peace Dale still is home to the mill whose
owners started the NPRR in 1876. The rr is long gone having been dismantled in 1981. Bike path
lives on, though there's talk of a ressurection.

Photographed by Daniel G. Dunn, June 7, 1977.
Added to the photo archive by Daniel Dunn, January 5, 2009.
Railroad: Narragansett Pier Railroad.
