Double Mourning

In the depths of Bangor & Aroostook's storage tracks at Northern Maine Junction, August of 2000 was coming to a close. This was the final summer before the closure of the facilities and roundhouse at NMJ, so closely linked to B&A lore. GP-7 #62 was already on its way to greener pastures as its shell was being encroached upon by nature.

Photographed by Jeff Bray, August 25, 2000.
Added to the photo archive by Jeff Bray, December 28, 2008.
Railroad: Bangor and Aroostook.
