Cardinal

The eastbound Cardinal, at Union Station, in Washington, DC, running very late. The train had been delayed in Illinois due to a locomotive break down, and then further delayed by signal work in Kentucky and West Virginia, making it about ten hours late in Washington, DC. Instead of arriving in the late evening, we arrived early the next morning.

Photographed by James Ogden, May 4, 2006.
Added to the photo archive by James Ogden, December 15, 2008.
Railroad: Amtrak.
