Where The Magic Begins

Along with grinding tube ends, the first big item now that #7's boiler is on it's way to Alna is to cut out and weld in a new crown sheet and side walls in the firebox.

#7 is in the middle of extensive restoration to her boiler, and the museum hopes to have her back in steam by late 2009 or early 2010. For more information, please visit http://www.mngrr.org/engine7.html and follow the progress in our work session reports
