Happy Rail...

Bridge Street Crossing Augusta, Me. At-least you can see the rail here most of it is buried. However Pan Am has been busy replacing ties and ballast on the other side of the Kennebec. Also there is new rail and a new siding/switch that is not to far from here but has been buried to make more parking spaces. Courtesy of The Augusta Parking District. In the distance on the right there is a new Parking Garage, when this was built the deal was the railroad would be uncovered. Looks like somebody lied. Personally I don't see many businesses in Downtown Augusta that is 1. Good Enough To use or 2. You have choice of a Bank, a Lawyers office, a Barber and a.. Hmm. Definitely not worthy of burying rails, stupid people. How about Rail Service?
