The Train Stops!...Here

New Stop signs near the Scrap metal yard in Augusta, Maine. Why these signs were put here I'm not sure. This track crosses the Kennebec River but the Freight stops here. No Trains can cross the bridge. This line has seen a-lot of use recently, including a brush/overgrowth cutting crew this week. Also the old Mill you see is the Former Statler Tissue 70's-early 90's/American Tissue Company 90's early 2000. It has been said that the City has interests in turning this Mill into a future Rail/Bus Station.
