Grand Trunk Western 4-6-2 5629, Bellevue, Michigan, Summer 1953 This is the legendary No. 5629, which later had a career on steam fan trips before being scrapped in Chicago. Here she is substituting for the usual Consolidation on the local freight, in a break-in run after being shopped at Battle Creek. Photographed with Kodak folding cartridge camera on size 116 film.
