Conrail Geometry Train at Hinsdale, MA

With Fall approaching soon, I thought it would be fitting to add this shot of the Conrail geometry train heading west through the town of Hinsdale, Mass., in the Fall of 1996. For those of us who have been photographing trains for many years: Isn't it strange how the Fall foliage colors of the 1980s and 1990s seem much more colorful than those of 2000-on?
Maybe it's the changing climate? It's been a long time since I've seen some truly outstanding colors out on the B&A. Photo by John Bazan.
