Waking up the Vermonter at St Albans

The next morning, 8/17/08, I would conclude my Amtrak circle trip by taking the Vermonter south from St Albans to Waterbury VT. I have never ridden between St Albans and Essex Jct before.

At St Albans shortly after 8am, the Vermonter pulls out of its overnight resting spot adjacent to the NECR shops.
