Lamoille Valley foliage train prepares to leave Morrisville

A snowy October 4th, 1987 in Northern Vermont! This train ultimately lost traction and had to be rescued on a grade near Hardwick. Up the 6 inches of heavy, wet snow fell across the higher terrain that day!

Photographed by Rus Murley, October 4, 1987.
Added to the photo archive by Russ Murley, July 16, 2008.
Railroad: Lamoille Valley.
