Southern Crescent circa 1977

Northbound Crescent at its station stop in Charlottesville, VA. I'm guessing at the year as the prints have no date. I would have been 15 years old in '77, my interest in railroads and the SR were really in full bloom and I had started taking pictures of trains. The "Southern Crescent" decals on the E-8 are a bit worn, and there are no Bicentennial decals on the flanks. Combination of these clues puts best guess as '77. I remember it was cool that morning, foliage on the hardwood trees in the background looks to be yellowing, but light enough at 6am to take the pics - I'm guessing late September...
