Southern New England Ry. Trestle Ruins

This is the west abutment of the trestle. The eastbound lanes of the Pike (I-90) are just behind me.

If you stop to check it out, notice the abutment's angle to the highway. If the SNE right of way had been legally active when the Pike was built, the roadway would have been built a bit further north, imho.
