Golden Spike!

With Central Pacific's Jupiter on the left and Union Pacific's No. 119 on the right, a few lucky people witnessed one of the most important moments in the history of transportation in our great country on May 10, 1869: The completion of the first transcontinental railroad.

Now, thanks to some very dedicated people and careful reenactment, we can get a glimpse of what the moment might have been like.
