Augusta Maine Stop...

Maine Eastern Excursion train makes it's Final Stop in Downtown Augusta, Maine. In the distance you can see the Memorial Bridge on the right is the new Rail-Trail. All of this track almost to the Hallowell City line was replaced with new ballast and track along with new signals and switches in 02-03. Smooth ride, the train had to stop here and could not let anyone off or on. Just beyond where this train stopped is new rail too but is buried in dirt Courtesy of the Augusta parking District. A nice trip just the same:)
