Maine Eastern Excursion Train....

Maine Eastern excursion train sits on the main line in Hallowell, Me. This trip was from Rockland to Brunswick then a rare Mileage trip up the "Lower Road" to Augusta. This trip was a blast too, even though most of the line was set at 10mph we actullay hit 34.4mph on a stretch of rail not to far from Richmond on the return trip. This trip was put together by the 470 rail group and Maine Rail Group Mr'g. Hopefully this won't be the last time Maine Eastern travels this line this year. Thanks for the great time everyone had at the annual meeting for Mr'g and the discuusion of passenger trains in Maine along with the Downeaster dicussion about futher expansion to Freeport and Brunswick.
