Canaan, CT Union Station

A passenger train of the Berkshire Scenic Railway operated on an extended trip this weekend south to Canaan, CT. The train is seen here pounding across the Central New England diamond. Much has changed at this depot in the past 10 years. They include, a fire in 2001, the removal of most all of the cabooses, ripping up of more Central New England trackage, station restoration, and today; the first passenger train with public to stop here since the late 1980's.
