Just Black and Blue now

No more Red White and Blue RailAmerica locomotives on the old E&N Railway. Washington Corp took over the railway July 1st 2006 and has been running it as the Southern Railway of Vancouver Island as part of the Southern Railway of BC. SRY hopes to breathe life into the E&N and is looking to increase freight traffic. Recently they've been shipping poles out of Courtenay, BC. Commuter Rail service to Victoria at the south end of the line is also in the future for this railway.
