A wintry night for Santa Fest

A cold wintry night and the steam is coming out of the turbine. #4 has just topped off its tank at the water crane. The switch is lined for the main and the Christmas train is waiting for the conductor to give the OK to head to Hancock Street to pick up another load of holiday passengers.

Photographed by Jay Monty, December 9, 2007.
Added to the photo archive by Hans Brandes, December 12, 2007.
Railroad: Maine Narrow Gauge.
