Railbus at Newport, RI

Larry Bass, the engineer poses with the railbus that operated on the Old Colony & Newport for several years. Nashua City Station has a nice history of the use of this rail bus here: http://www.nashuacitystation.com/bostonmaine.php?content=railbus Thanks Matt

The station is now located across the street on a spot that you can see just behind the railbus where the green sedan and pedestrian are. This location is now the Newport Visitors Center.

Photographed by Unknown, 1984.
Added to the photo archive by George Kenson, October 28, 2007.
