WAED has just crossed the Concord River approaching CPF-BY from the east in Lowell, MA. The single unit is adequate to pull the relatively short train (around 20 cars). EDWA which is waiting at an intermediate signal within CPF-BY for it to clear , has 4 units and a lot more cars heading east.
