Burlington Rail Trail

We are now several miles south of the beginning of the Colchester Causeway. After leaving the causeway and before Airport Park in Colchester, the Rutland Railroad right of way is obscurred by a residential neighborhood, which the bike path meanders through the remain contiguous. Then it rejoins the ROW at Delta Park. A few years back, a bike ferry was operated over the Winooski River between Colchester and Burlington, but today there is a nice bridge and a 1/2 mile long elevated concrete boardwalk.
