Stripping off the old roofAs I watched eight workers stripping off the old roof, I wondered how many roofs this parlor car has had in its over 110 years of existance.
From what I have been told, this is the oldest actively used railcar in the United States.
It is part of the Old Colony & Newport Railway consist which runs on Sundays at 11:45 am and 1:45 pm.
