Thought you'd all want to see where the ex-GN Ranch Car wound up in Columbus, Ohio. It is now in place on it's own trackbed at the Depot Conference Center (a rail-themed business conference facility). The car is currently under restoration and the owner (who already has a nicely restored CV caboose, steam locomotive and the restored Brice, Ohio depot on the property) assures me the restoration will be well-done.

And, yes, those are railroad tracks in the photo. he also maintains a live-steam railroad that loops around the property and passes within yards of the CSX mainline.
