Guilford MOW Re-alignment in Durham, NH

Fourth in a series of Guilford's MOW equipment doing track alignment in Durham, NH. The work disrupted all of the Downeaster service for the day from about 10am until quite late at night. For some of the runs, Amtrak was able to have two trains on either side of the construction and UNH's Wildcat Transit buses would shuttle passengers to the continuing train. There were a couple Downeaster runs for which Amtrak wouldn't be able to get a train back to Durham. Instead, UNH and another bus company provided continuing service to points north (Wells, Portland, etc.).
