Somewhere on the Boston-New York Road in 1961

In 1961 my high school history teacher took our class on a trip to NYC to see the United Nations. To a young kid New York City looked like 10 Bostons piled on top of each other. I had never seen such a thing. This view is out the back window of the last car on our train. From the curve, and the tracks to the right, and the hill I'm guessing that this is Providence, RI, as it looked then, but I don't know. As I remember it Providence, near the old Union Station, had the sharpest curve on the line. (I am now informed that this is indeed Providence, RI)
