A Bit of Classic Luxury...

Two sleepers, a lounge and a diner of fledgling luxury operator American European Express bring up the rear of Amtrak's eastbound "Broadway Limited" at Harrisburg, Pa. on May 5, 1990.

AEE began as a short-lived operation of cars on the New York-Chicago "Broadway" and the Washington-Chicago "Capitol Limited". These early efforts evolved into the highly successful American Orient Express cruise trains.
