French fries on the BAR

McCain Foods in the town of Washburn, ME, on the Bangor & Aroostook RR was a potato processing plant. Presumably where potatoes were made into all those French Fries used in Burger King restaurants (I believe) at the time. Note: I'm told by Jean-Denis Bachand that they currently sell to MacDonald's in the USA and Canada.

Photographed by Marvin Cluff, January, 1982.

Railroad: Bangor and Aroostook.
