CP in New Brunswick.......Gone, not forgotten

Extra 8743 north leads two other RS-18's, 8782 and 1824 with a short consist. These same units will return south with 62 cars. Evidence of recent track work is noticeable with new ballast, albeit in the form of gravel.

This scene is just north of Fredericton, NB., however track is now gone and the former branch is now a recreational trail.
