Metrolink F59PH #864 leads a midday train from Los Angeles into the transportation center at Oceanside, Calif. This is the agency's southernmost stop, and is part of the Orange County Line service along the ex-Santa Fe "Surf Line".

Oceanside is also a stop for Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains to and from San Diego, and is the north end of the Coaster regional rail service. The transportation center also hosts Sprinter diesel light rail service along the ex-Santa Fe branch east to Escondido.
