Maine Eastern FL-9 #489 led the way on the return to Brunswick, Maine. The train was operated with a locomotive at each end since there is no convenient location to run the engines around at this time. I spoke to Maine Eastern representatives who said they hope to drum up interest in reestablishing some type of service on this line. Everyone on the train remarked at how smooth the ride was eventhough the tracks have seen no regular service for a few years now. Let's hope this becomes a regular thing!
