Sheepscot River Bridge on the Maine Eastern (4)

Another shot of the Sheepscot River Bridge looking more to the East. At the bottom of this photo you can see a small portion of the long trestle over a part of the bay. This trestle was totally rebuilt by the State during the last year of the Maine Coast Railroad. I worked for Maine Coast on the tourist train for several years on weekends. I never tired of crossing these trestles, causeways and bridges. To me this was much more interesting than the Carlton Bridge between Bath and Woolwich.
