Bay Colony's "new" power

Chunky B39-8 #8580, apparently being leased by Bay Colony, waits for the canal lift bridge on friday night, September 29th. The "b-boat" is a former LMX unit now owned by Railcar Leasing (RLCX.) At 3,900 hsp, the unit is over twice as powerful as the Geep it is replacing this night.

Photographed by Mike Chapman, September 29, 2006.
Added to the photo archive by Michael Chapman, October 1, 2006.
