While at the museum I spoke with Jeff and Rick and learned that several projects are underway or will take place soon. The trackwork seen here is a number of turnouts which had to be constucted before anymore track was layed. The line to the left will lead to the Airline main, the next track to the right is for the Airline secondary and the third track is to the ashpit which will be the secondary track to the turntable. It looks to me like a big project for a commerical track gang, my hat is off to the volunteer crew doing this! From the Airline secondary track will be one more turnout to the roundhouse lead. The goal is to be able to put some equipment into the round house before winter.
