The station area at Lake Placid,NY

A string of passenger cars sits in front of the depot at Lake Placid. Three work train cars sit on a siding. The shot is looking east at the end of track. As of now you can take the train to Saranac Lake and back, at the North end of the line. Someday we will be able to ride the train all the way from Utica to Lake Placid once again.
