Ex-Central Vermont "auto carrier" boxcar (1926), with clamshell end door(s). Had evidently also been used for some sort of bulk transport (grain) as evidenced by interior loading marks (still present). End damage to car occurred prior to Empire State Railay Museum's acquisition in 1993 from Rhode Island. Basically in sound shape as is. Sitting on ESRM's siding in Phoenicia.
