NHN Washout Milton, NH

above is a washout on the NHN at Milton 3 Ponds. Many of NHN's Trestles and high bridges are at risk of being washed out. As seen on news, the Dam in Milton could give way at any time causing a 10 foot wall of water to head for Milton Leather Board Co. That is where one of NHN's tall bridges is located. Currently the water is about 3 feet from the bridge. With a 10 foot wall of water, the bridge could wash away. Many washouts along the line, NHN will be out of service for a while. The 2 GP9s 1756 and 1757 are trapped in Rochester, while the two GP38's are at Ossipee.
