A night with the #1704 that I will never forget...

The short time that the #1704 was on the Cape was a good one. She's still a strong engine, and this is the result of her working hard (I work 'em good.. haha) one night pulling the trash loads up the hills at Buttermilk, Elm St., and Tremont. All that carbon that had built up sure makes for a nice fireworks display, eh? She did this for at least 30 minutes, maybe as long as 40 minutes after arriving at SEMass, which you can see in the background. This display was better than the night before, and the tipper operator had some of his SEMass buddies out at the fence to watch us come into the yard. They were very impressed... hahaha.
