Waterbury VT - Undergoing RestorationIn February 2006, restoration finally commenced on the Waterbury, VT railroad station. Amtrak has used the left portion of the facility while the right side has hosted a variety of businesses over the years. In recent years, the building has been in sad shape, with crumbling bricks and a dilapidated interior. Now that is all changing. The restoration is expected to be completed Fall 2006, and will house a regional information center, a Green Mountain Coffee Roasters store, and of course, the Amtrak station.
