This Photo was taking in the Town of Millville,Mass off of Central st.

The air line(New Haven) was part of the Norfork Central Railroad that was build in 1854.
This is the line that was hit with the 1955 "Flood"...

Then this route was used to move wide loads that could not clear other rail line. But the a new flood hit the Blackstone in March of 1968 destroying auther bridge.

Penn Cantral could not justified rebuilding the line so it
was Adandoned...
