Woonasquatuckett Railroad Part 3 of 3


The Providence & Springfield was hope to have a cooection with the Boston & Albany at Palmer,Mass then with some trackage right to Springfield,Mass. But finding money to build the line was very hard to find, So this line is now a long Branch line....

Passenger trains started running in 1893 with 10 daily trains but ended in 1931..

But this line did not go to the Providence & Worcester Railroad, Becoase the New Haven abandonment the line from
Pascoag to Olneyville in 1962 then from Providence to Olneyville in 1965......
