A better look at ST #206's simplified paint scheme

As the ST #206 was still a fairly new arrival in August of 1993 (on the property about 9 months), it still wore its simplified GTI paint scheme, which was applied to several of the ST GP35's upon arrival in late 1992. Obviously, the big G and roadname lettering was applied right over the unit's existing black paint, and a small orange stripe was put on the cab side. As the #206 was formerly NS and NW #206, GTI even kept one of its legacy numberboards in place (left side of nose).

Photographed by John Joyce, August 7, 1993.
