Last shot of P&W in Willimantic, CT.

Last shot of P&W in Willimantic. At one time, Willimantic had over 100+ trains a day coming through here. Since then it has slowed down alot (only 2-4 trains coming through), but really has started picking up again. P&W use these tracks because it saves them from using helper locomotives on their other route to go up the grade, and also it saves them 33 miles. There is an agreement that NECR (and VRS, and CP, and NS) uses the P&W engines - its a NECR crew. "There is no lease agreement.P&W takes the train to New London on their tracks, NECR crew takes over in New London and ends on the VRS in Vermont where their crew takes it, and so on." (Thanks to Mr. Telesha for the info on what I said wrong).
