Whistle post on the Newburyport Branch

The tracks have been abandoned but here and there, an old cement post still exists. At this post, trains would hit the whistle as they approached Summer Street's grade crossing which is now paved over. No train whistle has been heard here in years. This post is gathering ivy that made for a more attractive art composition.
