Trains to run here soon, Book Two

As I related earlier, the ME plans to operate the former MEC line between Brunswick and Lisbon Falls. This photo was taken about 1/4 miles south of the flakeboad mill in Lisbon Falls. The river is to the left.
For those who don't know
The former MEC Lewiston Lower Branch is owned by the State of Maine from Brunswick to Lisbon Falls, about 8 miles. Beyond there, the tracks are owned by Guilford and are in terrible shape, overgrown and in some cases torn up. The State of Maine plans to rebuild the line fromm Brunswick to Lisbon to serve customers. I have walked the line and on a scale of 1 to 10, its condition is about a 4. Maybe they see something I don't. Seeing trains in scenic locations like this is worth the wait!
