Pfizer SW8 #1 at Groton Ct plant. This unit replaced the GE/Cummins Centercab . This engine unit was an ex Rock Island, picked up by Pfizer at Silvas Illinois (former Rock Island shops now Chrome Crankshaft). Pfizer 1 now resides at the Danbury Rail Museum, Danbury Ct. The gentleman standing onn the platform is my father.
