Here is a shot of the new high platform at the Berlin Station...looking northbound. You can see the new ballast for the track to be set up to the platform. The temporary platform can be see at the far end, against the existing mainline. I can remember when this whole section used to be double tracked.
Up the track a short distance (barely seen to the left of the temporary platform) is where the Guilford enters the Springfield Line (train PLED/Plainville-East Deerfield) to head to East Deerfield.
