Zephyr Westbound from Denver [1 of 7]Climbing into the Rockies just west of Denver on Amtrak's Calif Zephyr. We're about 45 minutes west of Denver on a Sunday morning. This series is shot from the Viewliner through the bottom of the upper curved window. In this scene the Zephyr is passing a long string of empty coal hoppers. The head end of that train is in the center of the picture. Just above the 2nd unit of that train is a cut in the hill side. The final picture in this set will be taken from that area. /DL
